When Alex and I were leaving the Holt Renfrew on Bloor, we were asked to have our photo snapped for the Holts Muse Blog’s “What’s In Your Bag?” segment. We laughed so hard when we saw the picture. Just too funny.

That fast already, huh. Time flies.
Jack’s in St. Jacobs. We missed breakfast, but their lunch/dinner pastas are surprisingly good. Really reasonably-priced and huge portions.
(Why do I always feel like I’m a salesperson for everything I talk about?)

“Super Saiyans are REAL.” Alex showed me this video and I nearly died. Part inspirational speech (until you remember that he’s talking about DBZ), part “powering up”. Watch the whole thing.

Alex made these for me and I am hooked! Rosemary and olive oil Triscuits + goat cheese + walnuts + drizzled with honey. Yum.
East coast trip
is booked! I can’t wait to meet all of Alex’s family and see his roots. 
As ironic as this may sound,
Alex has probably played the biggest role in shaping my feministic views.
So excited to see The Drums in Toronto! This will be my second time seeing them live and Alex’s first time (since he missed out last October).
