I found out a couple of months ago that my dad’s original destination was Los Angeles, California. After complications, he was accidentally separated from his cousin and ended up in Chatham, Ontario in 1977.
I wonder what I would be like now if I were raised somewhere other than in Kitchener/Waterloo.
